ALS, the Alternative Learning System is a program of the Department of Education which helps every Filipino school dropout and non-literate adult achieve their dream. ALS provides opportunities to complete basic education with equivalency assessment and tests comparable with the competencies and skills of the K-12 program. ALS prepares learners for life-long learning.
Arnold Janssen learning facilitators or teachers remain dedicated frontliners in delivering and assisting learners on their modular exercises and portfolio assessment, providing skills training, and conveying hope in a time of anxiety, depression, and losses.
For the past twenty (20) years, Arnold Janssen ALS has assisted 45,000 school dropouts and non-literate adults in 120 community learning centers in the Philippines.
